- What is the Cowboy Artists of America?
- Founded in 1965, the Cowboy Artists of America is an organization of professional Western artists whose mission is to authentically preserve and perpetuate the culture of Western life in fine art.
- How does an artist become a member?
- Membership is by invitation of the active members. Artists may submit an online portfolio for consideration; work is judged on authenticity of Western subject matter, draftsmanship and mastery of medium.
- When and where is the annual Exhibition & Sale?
- The annual Exhibition & Sale is held each fall. The 60th anniversary exhibition moves to Denver, Colorado, continuing a tradition that began in 1967.
- How can I purchase artwork?
- Work is offered during the annual Exhibition & Sale. Contact the CA office for information on availability, the sale party and buyer registration.
- What does the Joe Beeler Foundation do?
- The foundation is the charitable arm of the CA. It funds workshops, scholarships, the youth art contest and classroom outreach that introduce young artists to traditional Western art.
- Is the trail ride open to the public?
- The annual trail ride is a members' gathering with invited guests and ranch hosts. Photographs and reports from each ride are shared in our news section.
- How can I support the CA?
- You can donate to the Joe Beeler Foundation, become an exhibition sponsor, or attend the annual show. Every contribution supports the next generation of Western artists.
